Google developers significantly misstate carbon emissions of proposed UK datacentres

Google developers have misstated carbon emissions of proposed UK datacentres by a factor of five in planning documents, with projects planned in Essex and Lincolnshire. The error was found in plans for two huge datacentres, one in Thurrock and another in North Weald, both in Essex. The tech company's plans are currently under review.
