Santa Monica nanny arrested for alleged child abuse of infant

A 65-year-old nanny, Carolina Cobian, was arrested in Santa Monica for alleged child abuse of an infant. The arrest followed a suspected child abuse case reported at a hospital in Los Angeles on April 7. Investigators from the Santa Monica Police Department identified Cobian as the suspect.
