Armed fighters kill at least 30 people in attacks in central Mali

Armed fighters affiliated with al-Qaeda killed at least 30 people in attacks on two villages in the Mopti region of central Mali on Wednesday. The attacks were reported by several sources to Reuters and AFP. The assailants targeted villages in the Mopti region.
