Police think this contraption can bring high-speed chases to an end

Police are testing a device that can end high-speed chases by deploying a net to wrap around the tires or axle of a fleeing vehicle. The device is activated when a pursuing vehicle gets within 5 feet of the motorist. This technology aims to reduce the risk of high-speed pursuits.
