Met officers investigated over handling of Mohamed Al Fayed abuse complaints

The Independent Office for Police Conduct has launched an investigation into a serving Metropolitan police officer and four former officers over their handling of allegations of sexual abuse made against Mohamed Al Fayed. The investigation is for potential misconduct. Mohamed Al Fayed was a former owner of Harrods who died in 2023.
