Oxnard School District employee pleads guilty to sending lewd messages, photos to minor student

Miguel De Jesus Marquez, a 25-year-old Oxnard School District employee, pleaded guilty to sending inappropriate sexual text messages and photos to a 15-year-old minor student. The incident occurred while Marquez was working as a para-educator and classroom helper. He began communicating with the victim in August 2024.
