Meta, YouTube ask judge to toss LA jury verdict in social media addiction case

Meta and YouTube have asked a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to overturn a jury verdict that found them negligent in the design or operation of their platforms. The companies filed separate appeals earlier this month. The verdict was related to a social media addiction case.
