Stretch of 110 Freeway in San Pedro near encampment fire will reopen: officials

A fire erupted inside a utility tunnel near the 110 Freeway in San Pedro, but it did not cause enough structural damage to warrant a full shutdown. The blaze was reported on the northbound side of the 110 near Gaffey Street. The roadway is set to reopen.
