More Americans say US is no longer welcoming to immigrants, survey finds
A new poll found that almost two-thirds of respondents believe the US is no longer a welcoming country for immigrants, citing Donald Trump's immigration-enforcement agenda as a factor. The survey conducted by the Associated Press-NORC last month showed that six in 10 respondents think the country used to be great for immigrants but no longer is. This shift in perception may be attributed to the current administration's policies.
