Mira Murati, OpenAI's former CTO, testified that CEO Sam Altman lied about safety standards for a new AI model. Altman allegedly falsely stated that the legal department determined the model didn't need to go through the company's deployment safety board. Murati claimed this made her work more difficult during her tenure.
