Armed suspect who allegedly shot at Secret Service officers near White House identified as Texas man

A 45-year-old Texan named Michael Marx allegedly shot at Secret Service officers near the White House and was subsequently shot by the officers. The incident occurred after Marx was observed pulling a gun, and a juvenile suspect was also struck and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The motivation behind the shooting is still unknown.
