Rubio: US to propose UN Security Council resolution calling for opening of Strait of Hormuz

The Trump administration is proposing a UN Security Council resolution to open the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has effectively shut down. The resolution comes after the announcement of Project Freedom for the U.S. Navy to assist international navigation. Secretary of State Marco Rubio made the announcement on Tuesday.
