Conti, Akira ransomware affiliate given 8-year sentence

Deniss Zolotarjovs pleaded guilty to money laundering and wire fraud charges and was given an 8-year sentence for involvement in Conti and Akira ransomware affiliate activities. He was arrested in Georgia. The plea was entered in July 2025.
