Rare hantavirus human-to-human transmission suspected on luxury cruise ship where 3 have died

A rare hantavirus outbreak on a luxury cruise ship has resulted in three deaths and several others sickened, with suspected human-to-human transmission. The World Health Organization is investigating the outbreak, which occurred on the Dutch vessel MV Hondius. The ship is currently off the coast of Cape Verde.
