Patrick Mahomes is recovering from knee surgery ahead of schedule and is taking a trainer with him when he leaves town. He began rehabilitation one day after his surgery in December and has not stopped since. The Kansas City Chiefs general manager Brett Veach says Mahomes will have to be held back during training camp.
