Microsoft is finally ditching the junk MSN feed in Windows widgets

Microsoft is discontinuing the MSN feed in Windows widgets, hiding it by default to make the experience less distracting. This change is part of an effort to reduce unexpected alerts and visual interruptions. The update will also affect how the widgets panel opens from the taskbar.
