US summoned bank bosses to discuss cyber risks posed by Anthropic’s latest AI model

The US Treasury secretary, Scott Bessent, convened major US bank executives in Washington to address cybersecurity risks from Anthropic's Claude Mythos AI model. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell attended the meeting, which followed the release of the model deemed to pose significant cyber threats.
