The creator of Notepad++, Don Ho, has disavowed a 'Notepad++ for Mac' release, stating that it uses the Notepad++ trademark without permission. The Mac version was created by Andrey Letov. Notepad++ has been a Windows-exclusive app since its creation in 2003.
