Thermos jars recalled after exploding lids blind users

Thermos is recalling over 8 million food jars and bottles due to malfunctioning lids that can eject and cause injury, including permanent vision loss. The recall affects certain Thermos Stainless King food jars and Thermos Sportsman food and beverage bottles. Dozens of people have been injured, with several suffering permanent vision loss.
