Tillis leaves door open to not backing Blanche nomination over Jan. 6 appeals

Republican Sen. Thom Tillis (N.C.) has indicated he may not support Todd Blanche's nomination as Attorney General due to Blanche's handling of Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack appeals. The DOJ under Blanche recently filed a motion to vacate seditious conspiracy convictions related to the attack.
