Doctor and son accused of running dangerous side-business scheme in New York

A retired doctor and his son in New York were accused of operating a pill mill, fraudulently prescribing addictive medications like Percocet, Adderall, and Xanax without patient examinations. They were charged with 23 counts of illegal drug prescriptions and conspiracy, facing up to five and a half years in prison if convicted.
