Mother-in-law of slain beauty queen arrested after international manhunt

Erika María, the mother-in-law of slain former Mexican beauty queen Carolina Flores Gómez, was arrested in Venezuela after a two-week international manhunt. Flores Gómez, 27, was fatally shot in her Mexico City apartment, and her son, Alejandro, is under investigation for allegedly aiding her mother’s escape and delaying the police report.
