Bizarre blue ocean creatures blanket California beaches from S.F. to SoCal

Hundreds of thousands to millions of Velella velella, blue jellyfish-like creatures, are washing ashore along California's coast from San Francisco to Southern California. The event may be linked to developing El Niño conditions in the Pacific Ocean.
