Senate panel advances Trump Fed chair pick Kevin Warsh

The Senate Banking Committee voted 13-11 along party lines to advance Kevin Warsh’s nomination as Federal Reserve chair, following the DOJ’s decision to drop its criminal probe into current Fed Chair Jerome Powell. Warsh’s confirmation has been delayed for nearly two months.
