50-foot ancient snake discovered in India may be one of the largest ever

A 50-foot prehistoric snake named Vasuki indicus, discovered in India, is estimated to have lived 47 million years ago and rivaled the size of Titanoboa. Fossilized vertebrae from Gujarat's lignite mine suggest it was a thick-bodied ambush predator similar to modern anacondas.
