Senate Republican: Powell should leave Fed, ‘cash in’

Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) expressed hope that Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell will leave the central bank when his term ends on May 15. Powell has indicated he may continue as a board member beyond his chairmanship.
