Half of England’s schools unfit due to leaks, mould and faulty toilets, poll finds

A survey by the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) reveals that 50% of England’s schools have parts deemed unfit for use due to issues like leaks, damp, mould, asbestos, and faulty infrastructure. Over 70% of affected schools report problematic toilet facilities, with 65% having toilets unfit for purpose and 8% closed.
