SK Hynix’s aspirations for ’Merica-made HBM inch closer to reality

SK Hynix has begun construction of a new advanced memory packaging facility in West Lafayette, Indiana, aimed at increasing U.S.-made high-bandwidth memory (HBM) production. The facility is expected to support demand for HBM in upcoming Nvidia Rubin-Ultra GPUs by 2028.
