The global RAM shortage is expected to persist until 2030 as manufacturers like Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron struggle to meet demand. Production increases from new fabrication facilities will not be operational until 2027-2028, and annual production growth needs to reach 12% in 2026-2027 to address the shortfall.
