Amazon won’t release Fire Sticks that support sideloading anymore

Amazon will no longer release Fire TV Sticks that support sideloading of Android apps or external software. Starting with the Fire TV Stick 4K Select (launched in October), all future devices will use Amazon's proprietary Vega OS, as confirmed by an updated developer website and historical Wayback Machine records. Amazon has not explicitly communicated this change to consumers.
