UK’s largest housebuilder to buy less land, in blow to Labour’s homes target

UK's largest housebuilder Barratt Redrow plans to significantly reduce land purchases due to the impact of the Iran war and rising mortgage costs, which threatens Labour's housing targets. The company expects to buy 7,000-9,000 plots in 2023, down from previous guidance of 10,000-12,000.
