US DoJ files for overturning January 6 convictions for far-right groups’ members

The US Department of Justice has requested a federal appeals judge to overturn convictions of Proud Boys and Oath Keepers members for seditious conspiracy related to the 2021 Capitol siege. The filing targets leaders Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, and Stewart Rhodes, who were previously convicted in connection with the violent attack.
